These terms apply to all users of the website appclauselens.com and the ClauseLens mobile application.

ClauseLens helps you import contracts, generate plain-language summaries, identify attention points, and review suggested questions before signing.

The service is designed to help you understand what a contract says — not to replace the judgment of a qualified legal professional.

ClauseLens is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The summaries, risk signals, attention points, and guided questions generated by the app are informational outputs produced by automated processing.

Nothing in ClauseLens's outputs creates an attorney-client relationship. You should consult a licensed legal professional before signing, renewing, modifying, or terminating any contract that involves significant legal or financial risk.

You may use ClauseLens only for lawful purposes and only if you have the authority to upload, review, or share the materials you submit.

You may not use ClauseLens to violate confidentiality obligations, infringe intellectual property rights, abuse the platform's infrastructure, or attempt to reverse engineer protected components.

Some features are available only through paid plans, usage credits, or in-app purchases. Availability, pricing, and limits may change as the product evolves.

Subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds processed through app stores are governed by the applicable store's policies, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

You retain responsibility for the content you upload or paste. By using the service, you grant ClauseLens permission to process that material solely to deliver the review workflow you request.

Summaries, risk signals, and suggested questions are generated by automated AI processing and are provided for informational purposes only. They may require validation before you act on them.

The ClauseLens brand, product interface, design system, software logic, and site materials are the property of ClauseLens and its licensors.

These terms do not grant you ownership of the service or permission to copy, resell, or white-label it without prior written authorization.

ClauseLens may add or remove features, update limits, modify the interface, and change supported formats as the product matures. We will communicate material changes where reasonably practicable.

We may suspend or restrict access when necessary to protect security, prevent abuse, comply with applicable law, or maintain service integrity.

You may stop using the service at any time. ClauseLens may suspend or terminate your access if these terms are breached, if required payments are not completed, or if the platform needs to be protected from misuse.

Termination does not automatically delete your data if retention is required for legal, operational, or security reasons as described in our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClauseLens is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your reliance on the service's outputs, service interruption, or misuse of the platform.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory applicable law, including applicable consumer protection regulations.

Users located in other jurisdictions may have additional rights under their local consumer protection laws. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under your applicable local law.
